Scott Liam Walker

Scott is an award-winning artist and graphic designer, originally from the UK. After completing a BFA in Communication Design at Parsons (The New School) in New York, he spent a further nine years in NYC, freelancing as a designer for some of the world’s most prominent advertising, gaming and entertainment agencies as he developed his technical skill-set.Simultaneously, Walker was establishing himself as a prominent illustrator and muralist, featuring at numerous mural and fine-art festivals across USA. Walker’s work straddles two areas of interest: pop-art, influenced by his career in commercial design, and a passion for all things organic­– with animals and plants becoming increasingly common in his artwork over the past decade.

Walker’s goal is to celebrate both the beauty of the natural world and the chaos associated with the artifice of popular culture. Skilled in everything from chalk and acrylic to aerosol and digital illustration, he fuses typography and pattern with highly-realistic illustrations to create both arresting portraiture pieces and dramatic collage works.
