Artist Statement
My work is focused on the exploration of personal and universal mythology. I strive to create an expressive momentum that captures a deep inner emotion, which can be both beautiful and mysterious in nature. Through my artwork, I hope to bring to light hidden layers of truth about our collective experience by combining abstract forms with figurative images. My goal is to transport viewers into new realms of imagination and wonder—where we can contemplate our fundamental relationship with the natural world and beyond. By reimagining traditional symbols and archetypes, I aim to provide an opportunity for reflection on these timeless themes within chaotic contemporary culture. In my practice, I seek out connections between disparate elements to spark dialogue around ideas of transformation—from turmoil to harmony—in our shared journey of life. – Osiris Rain
