Nicole Nikolich

Nicole Nikolich, also known as Lace In The Moon, is a Philadelphia-based crochet artist who transforms yarn into captivating installations, experiences, and creative content. While Nicole earned her BFA in Fashion Merchandising from Virginia Commonwealth University, she learned to crochet through YouTube tutorials in an attempt to calm her own anxiety and depression. During this time she became a street artist and yarn-bomber, creating striking installations that caught the attention of passersby. Nicole has since grown her passion into her own full-time business. Now, she creates large-scale, one-of-a-kind crochet installations for individual clients and companies, events, businesses, the digital world, and art galleries.

Often, her work explores mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, pop culture, technology, nostalgia, and the idea of using art as play. Using vibrant colors and rich textures, Nicole creates immersive pieces that captivate and delight. Nicole’s most notable clients include Windows, Microsoft, Target, Door Dash, AMC, Eventbrite, The University of Pennsylvania, Visit Philly, The Philadelphia Airport, Mural Arts Philadelphia, and more.
