When I was 8 years old I already knew I wanted to be a cartoonist. Then a few years later I realized that was stupid and decided I was going to be a telecommunications engineer. Then I realized that was even more stupid and went back to plan A. Or something similar.
I started studying a NVQs at a high school in Málaga. There, I learnt the basics. A little photography, photoshop, shooting and video editing.
Then I moved to England, looking for success. After a year of wandering around with no future I joined University and I became a Film Studies bachelor, with no future. I went back to Spain. Still no future.
At the time I had completely forgotten about drawing, I thought I wanted to edit, or film, or something related to cinema or TV.
I joined a master in postproduction, thinking it was mainly editing… But they showed me the wonders of VFX, motion graphics and 3D. Now I wanted to be a compositor.
The masters got me an internship in a small studio where we mainly did motion graphics. And that’s where my love for animation started.
I got another job in another studio blah, blah, blah. Coursed another master on compositing blah, blah, blah. Discovered Instagram blah, blah, blah.
And I think you had enough reading already. Check my work and don’t pay attention to my background cause, to be fair, it’s irrelevant.
