Nathan Walker — Stanley Soccer Mural

Artist and illustrator Nathan Walker designed and painted this custom mural for a mini soccer pitch at an elementary school just outside of Seattle. Known primarily for his illustration work, Walker used the project as an opportunity to expand his practice into large-scale mural work and bring his distinctive visual style to a public space.

Created in collaboration with Stanley, the U.S. Soccer Foundation, and RAVE Foundation, the mural transforms the pitch with a bold, energetic design that complements the movement and spirit of the game. From developing the artwork through to painting the finished pitch, the project was an exciting new challenge for Walker and a chance to work at a scale beyond his typical illustration practice.
